Any funds you collect from team members via Teammo are sent directly to your nominated bank account. Due to this, we recommend that you don't send yourself payment requests, as the money you pay using your debit/credit card will be going to your bank account anyway. The reason we suggest this is to avoid you paying unnecessary transaction fees.
When you are ready to make payments to your league/association, your share is accounted for when you make your match payment on your debit/credit card.
How does this work?
When you set up a new payment request, select yourself in the first row where it says 'Team Manager'. You then can select any other team members that are required to pay the payment request. They will receive SMS notifications as normal.
By selecting yourself in the request, you account for your share of the team's payment in the overall calculations, but you don't receive the payment request SMS. This means you don't need to the pay the request. This is to prevent you from paying unnecessary transaction fees.
For example, if you manage and play in a team of 10 players (including yourself) and you owe $10.00 each ($100.00 in total), you will collect $90.00 via Teammo, which will be sent to your nominated bank account. When you pay your association, your share of $10.00 will be covered when you make the match payment using your debit/credit card.
