Team member isn't receiving payment request SMS

If you have a team member that isn't receiving payment request SMS from Teammo, below are some troubleshooting tips.

Please note: all team manager payment request SMS are sent from this Teammo mobile number: 0439 460 097.

Wrong mobile number

Double check the mobile number in your Teammo account to ensure it is correct. If it is incorrect, you can edit it and then re-sent a new payment request to the team member.

Unsubscribed from messages

If the team member has replied 'STOP' to the Teammo number (0439 460 097), they will not receive SMS from Teammo as they have unsubscribed.

To re-subscribe, they can simply text 'START' to the following number: 0439 460 097.

Check to see if Teammo number has been blocked

It is unlikely, but if the Teammo number (0439 460 097) has been blocked on the member's phone, they will be unable to receive SMS. To check if the number has been blocked:

  • On iPhone: Go to Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts.

  • On Android: Open Phone app > Tap 'More' > Settings > Blocked numbers.

The number to look for is: 0439 460 097.

There could be a handset related issue

  • Try restarting the device to ensure there is a good connection to the end network. Turn off your phone and wait 30 seconds before turning it back on.

  • If the team member's device is turned off for a period of time when a request is sent, this can occasionally cause issues with being unable to connect to the carrier/network.

  • If on an iPhone, try disabling iMessage temporarily

  • Mobile phone memory has been exceeded. This is rare. However, if a member is using an old phone with limited capacity, if the SMS message inbox is full, new messages are unable to be received.
